So recently, I have had to remove my GPU due to it being DOA. This means my display is over scaled, and i cannot meet the edge of the screen. A friend suggested I remove CCC and AMD drivers, equally I no longer have a card in, and am waiting for it to exist replaced. However, whenever i go to uninstall it, it just hangs, with no actual progress, and I cannot find CCC in the programs list in the unistall menu.
My question, like the title, is how tin i remove it? can I manually delete the files?

It should be listed as "AMD Catalyst Install Manager". Information technology will do the united nations-installing and y'all should tell to remove the install manager as well. If it is non at that place, perhaps it is why y'all were having problems. When you installed the driver in the commencement place and had problems, did you always try to uninstall information technology and re-install when you however had the menu? If so, and you are yet having problems, y'all may need a plan similar Revo Uninstaller, as information technology is quite a bit more thorough than windows uninstaller. There is a free version you could try. Accept y'all tried using the Windows driver to re-size your screen. Control Panel > Display. The windows graphics commuter has quite a few features for 2D (non-gaiming) tasks.

Did you lot set up information technology?
Because my quondam XP PC does the post-obit
Whenever I get to either `uninstall` AMD/ATI Drivers
or
`Install` AMD/ATI (updated) drivers; on BOTH occasions (hundreds of times) the estimator auto-reboots halfway through the process (on XP).
A ready would be nice, as I am forced to remain on 640x resolution on a 1080p monitor using a 512Mb XTX1950 graphics card connected via HDMI.

Give thanks you. Even "Repair/add features to the driver ready would cause a BSoD" Good program reviews for DDU (I hadn`t heard of it b4). Here... http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
